Depots and Storage

Always local, clean, uncontaminated and in abundance…

Midlands Wood Fuel operate from local depots distributed throughout the area. Currently we have twelve covering the region from Manchester to Gloucestershire.

Timber is delivered to the depots for outside storage which allows it to dry to around 30% moisture content. All of our virgin timber is clean and untreated. When dry the timber is then chipped by our Muz Max chipper directly into the depot.

Wood chip that is produced by MWF is stored in barns to keep it dry and free from contamination. At any one time, we have at least six months worth of dry fuel available which means we never run out, even during unexpected cold snaps.
